And what is inside these pages could change your life for the better. You will learn how to be a better shopper, spouse of a shopper, or if you are the owner of a retail business, it will help you know you are not alone when you want to poke your own eye out with a stick some days. I hope you fit into at least one of them, maybe even more, because the following pages have some real nuggets for life. But then I also recognize that these categories are just my recommendations and I know there are rule breakers out there. You know who you are. You are the one who says “To hell with the categories! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. Through LOL moments and sometimes tears, the author made me rethink how I treat people, not only when I go shopping at their business but also in my daily interactions with others whether at home or in public. Highly recommend putting it on your reading list!
Paula Estelle Jackson has given us a gift with Retail Therapy. Jackson is a great storyteller who has the knack of wrapping life lessons in humor. After you chuckle in each chapter, you'll realize that you also learned a few good lessons. That in my opinion is a gift - teaching people while thoroughly entertaining them. I loved this little book.
This hilarious book gives you a first-hand look at what it's like to own your own business. The author is candidly funny in her descriptions of day-to-day examples of some of the things that both made her laugh and things that drove her crazy as an owner. And you MUST read it as if you were hearing her Texas drawl in the words. Not only did this book make me laugh, it will also make me think the next time I shop. I enjoyed my Retail Therapy. Well done, Paula Estelle Jackson!

What a hoot! There were a few times I audibly laughed...especially when she talked about picking up
Poop with her bare hands accidentally. It's a lighthearted re-telling of her experiences as a retail store owner. Funny.
